Terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Fabu: the app, the website at saleflow.io and the booking pages. Fabu is operated by Moko Fomo Pty Ltd, ABN 62 672 988 215 (ACN 672 988 215) (“Fabu”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.
1. What Fabu is
Fabu lets independent beauty and wellness providers (“providers”) offer their services, take bookings and manage their clients. It also lets people (“clients”) find and book them.
Fabu is a booking tool. We are not a party to the services:
- Each booking is an agreement between the client and the provider.
- The provider is responsible for her services, prices, qualifications, insurance, licences and premises, and for following the laws that apply to her business.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to use Fabu, whether you provide services or book them.
- Sign in only to your own account. Keep your phone, email and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give accurate details, and keep your mobile number and email up to date.
- One person, one account. We may combine an empty duplicate account with your main account when you add the same mobile, email, Apple ID or Google account.
3. Bookings, changes and cancellations
- Prices and times. A booking is for the service, price and time shown when you book. A booking request is pending until the provider confirms it, unless she confirms online bookings automatically.
- Changes and cancellations. Each provider sets how many hours before a visit clients can cancel or move it in Fabu. Inside that time, message the provider. The provider’s own cancellation note also applies, for example about deposits. If a provider moves your booking, you can keep the new time, ask for another time or cancel.
- Deposits and payments. Depending on the provider, you pay a deposit or the price by card in Fabu, or directly to the provider (for example by PayID or bank transfer).
- Card payments in Fabu are collected by Fabu for the provider through Stripe (see section 7). Refunds of card payments follow the provider’s cancellation terms shown when you booked; if the provider cancels or declines, you get a full refund.
- Payments made directly to the provider are between you and her: Fabu does not take, hold or refund them.
- In every case the Australian Consumer Law applies.
- Reviews. Clients can review a completed visit within 60 days. Reviews must be honest, based on a real visit, and not abusive. Providers can’t review themselves.
4. Providers
If you offer services through Fabu, you agree to:
- describe your services, prices and availability accurately, and honour confirmed bookings;
- hold the qualifications, insurance, registrations and licences the law and your industry require for your services, and keep them current;
- offer only services that are allowed on Fabu (see What you can’t offer on Fabu);
- keep your clients’ information confidential and use it only to provide your services. This includes any health information, such as allergies or medical notes, which you may record only with the client’s consent;
- tell clients you add yourself that you use Fabu for bookings and messages. You are responsible for the client details you enter or import;
- keep your payment details correct. You are responsible for refunds of payments clients make directly to you; card payments made in Fabu are refunded under your cancellation terms (section 7);
- pay Fabu’s fees (section 7);
- keep the business records the law requires. Fabu is not a record-keeping or tax service.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Fabu to:
- break the law, or harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- send spam or misleading messages, or use Fabu’s texts or emails for anything other than genuine bookings and messages;
- create fake accounts, bookings, listings or reviews, or pretend to be someone else;
- add people as clients without a genuine business reason;
- scrape, overload or attack Fabu, get around its limits or security, or try to find a provider’s private address;
- offer or book services that are not allowed on Fabu;
- upload content you don’t have the right to use, or content that is sexual, violent or hateful.
Providers can block a person from booking or messaging them, and anyone can report a chat, a provider or a review to us.
6. Suspension and closing accounts
- We may limit, suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, review or message, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, the law requires it, or someone’s safety is at risk. Where it’s safe and lawful, we’ll tell you why.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or at saleflow.io/delete-account. A provider with upcoming bookings must cancel them first.
7. Fees, card payments and ID checks
Clients. Fabu is free for clients.
Provider fees.
- Setting up and using Fabu is free.
- You pay A$1 (GST inclusive) for each online booking a client makes with you that is confirmed, completed or marked as a no-show. Requests you decline or don’t answer, bookings cancelled before they’re billed, and bookings you add yourself are free.
- Each online booking is billed once. Early each month we add up the bookings from visits up to the end of the previous month and charge the total to the card you have saved in Fabu. A booking confirmed after that goes on your next bill. You get a tax invoice for each bill (Moko Fomo Pty Ltd is registered for GST).
- You don’t need a card to set up. When you get your first online booking we ask you to add one, and you need a valid card saved in Fabu to open your online bookings. If a payment fails, we tell you, and your online bookings stay closed until the bill is paid.
- There is no lock-in or minimum term. You can stop using Fabu at any time; fees for bookings already made remain payable.
- We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before we change our fees.
Card payments.
- If you take card payments in Fabu, clients pay by card when they book. Fabu collects these payments on your behalf through Stripe Connect, and Stripe processes the card. You need a Stripe account connected to Fabu and must accept Stripe’s terms for connected accounts. Fabu never sees or stores card numbers.
- We pay the money out to your Stripe account after the visit, no earlier than 24 hours after it ends; Stripe then pays it to your bank on its own schedule.
- Fabu takes no commission. Stripe’s card processing fee for the payment is deducted from the amount we pay out to you. The A$1 booking fee is not taken from client payments; it is on your monthly bill.
- If a booking is cancelled, the client’s refund follows the cancellation terms you set and the client accepted when booking. If you cancel or decline a booking, the client gets a full refund.
- Stripe doesn’t return its fee when a payment is refunded. On a full refund Fabu bears that fee and you receive nothing. On a part refund you receive the amount kept, less Stripe’s fee for the original payment.
- You are responsible for disputes (chargebacks) about your services. While a dispute is open we may hold the related payout. If the card issuer reverses a payment that was already paid out to you, we may recover that amount from you, for example by reversing the transfer to your Stripe account.
- Clients can still pay deposits directly to you by PayID or bank transfer, outside Fabu.
ID checks.
- We may ask a provider to verify her identity, for example before her listing goes live or after a report. Checks are done by Stripe Identity: you photograph your ID document and take a selfie, Stripe checks them, and Fabu keeps only the result.
- If you don’t complete a check we’ve asked for, we may limit your account or listing (section 6).
8. Our responsibility
- We work to keep Fabu available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have errors.
- Texts, emails and notifications can be delayed or not delivered, for example because of phone networks. Check your bookings in the app.
- Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can’t be excluded.
- To the extent allowed by law, and except for those rights:
- we are not liable for the services providers give, or for disputes between clients and providers;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss;
- our total liability to you is limited to resupplying the service, or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any).
9. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you upload or write: photos, profile text, reviews and messages.
- You give us permission to store, show and process it so that Fabu works. This includes showing a listed provider’s profile, photos and reviews publicly and in search.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect (at least 30 days before a change to our fees). If you keep using Fabu after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
