What you can’t offer on Fabu
Fabu is for professional beauty, wellness and personal-care services. To keep clients and providers safe, these aren’t allowed in a business name, headline, profile, service or photo:
Sexual or adult services
Any sexual service, or a service offered with sexual “extras”, under any name (for example escort, erotic, sensual, nuru, body-to-body or “happy ending” massage). Fabu is for professional beauty, wellness and personal-care services only.
Jobs, recruitment and “earn money” offers
Job ads, recruiting, “work from home” or “earn $… a week” offers, and anything that asks people to receive or move money for someone else.
Investments, crypto and loans
Investment schemes, trading, cryptocurrency, loans and similar financial offers.
Drugs and prescription-only medicines
Illegal drugs, and prescription-only medicines or injectables offered without the required medical practitioner.
Weapons
Weapons, ammunition and anything designed to harm people.
Medical claims
Claims to diagnose, treat or cure diseases (for example “cures cancer” or “cures anxiety”). Qualified health practitioners may describe their registered services accurately.
Also not allowed
- Photos must be your own work or your own studio. No stolen, stock or AI-generated portfolio photos presented as your work.
- Your business name, services and prices must be real and match what you offer.
- No contact details, links or payment details in your profile text: clients message and book you in Fabu.
- One business listing per person unless you run more than one real business.
How listings are checked
- Before your listing first appears in Explore, Fabu checks your business name, headline, profile, services and photo captions against this list. Most listings go live straight away.
- If something needs a closer look, a person at Fabu checks it, usually within 24 hours. Your booking link keeps working for your own clients while you wait.
- Listings are checked again when they change, and when clients report them. A listing that breaks these rules is taken out of Explore, and accounts that keep breaking them can be suspended.
