Fabu review policy
Who can leave a review
- Only a client with a visit that the provider marked as completed, once the visit has ended.
- One review per visit, within 60 days of it. The author can edit it during that time.
- Providers can’t review their own business, and an account can write at most 3 reviews a day and 10 in 30 days.
- Every review on Fabu comes from a booked visit.
What providers can and can’t do
- Providers can reply to a review once, publicly, and report a review they think breaks these rules.
- Providers can’t edit, hide, remove or choose which reviews appear, and can’t pay or reward anyone for a review.
- Fabu asks every client with a completed visit, not only happy ones.
What Fabu checks
Some reviews wait for a person at Fabu to check them before they appear: a review written from the provider’s own phone, or one whose words look abusive or sexual. We never hold a review just because it’s negative. To spot reviews from the provider’s own phone, Fabu keeps a scrambled code (not the details themselves) of the device and network used to sign in, for 180 days, and uses it for nothing else.
When a review is removed
Fabu removes a review only when it:
- attacks someone personally, or includes hate speech, threats or sexual content;
- shares someone’s contact details, address or other private information;
- isn’t about the visit (for example spam, adverts, or a different business);
- was written by the provider, someone working with them, or someone paid or rewarded for it.
A removed review no longer counts towards the provider’s rating. Disagreeing with a review isn’t a reason to remove it: providers can reply instead.
